3 is a magic number..3 is a magic number..Annette's actually has 4 figures here but 3 is the classic choice for a group of characters. Wide depth of field also means the Speed boat is also in focus and nicely positioned too. 'Sundowner' 2018'Sundowner' 2018

Summer dates to be annouced - register for the next workshop

To help you really get to grips with your camera, these full day sessions are designed for people who don't have the time for a longer classroom based courses run over several weeks, and who like the technical talk kept to a minimum! Based on small groups of 8 max (or as current rectrictions apply) we'll cover all the key skills you need to unleash both your creativity and the camera's full potential - so you can say goodbye to the 'Auto' button forever!

Sessions are broken up into bite-size briefings followed by practicals to apply the skills learnt, There will be coffee and lunch breaks (not included) for informal group discussions. Over the course of the day you'll get plenty of time to shoot different subjects at a range of locations, with advice on tap, moving towards more free-form assignments towards the end of the day as confidence builds. We round up with a final session including an overview of image editing with before/after examples, and there's a handy crib sheet as a reminder with recommendations on framers, canvas suppliers and Photo Labs for your final prints.

As a follow-on to the workshop there's an interactive online gallery where students can upload shots, view other students work and get critical advice from Dave. Places are currently limited to 5 with a minimum of 3 participants to proceed. Gift Vouchers available in a presentation card for use on any future workshops. Please note workshops are aimed at Digital SLRs and Mirrorless cameras users, but Superzooms and can also be used.
