Thanks to my father Doug, who had his own darkroom, I started developing my own black & whites aged 12 and won my first competition in the local rag soon after. Since then I’ve been selected as a Judge's Choice, and twice been commended in the Sunday Times Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards, and recently shortlisted in 2020.

I sell my photography at my Artist Open House show 'David Streeter & Friends' with 8 or more other artists in the house, and to make the work more eco friendly I now use frames sourced from either charity or junk shops, which are then reworked sympathetically with hand painted treatments in collaboration with Lucy Palmer to give a unique original look to every piece. Prints are limited edition archive quality using the Giclee printing process.

To help budding keen photographers wean themselves off the 'Auto' button and be more creative, for the last 10 years I've hosted full day Roving Photo Workshops along Brighton seafront from Mar - Oct, with Gift Vouchers available for that prezzie that will be a skill for a lifetime.

I also run an event photography business - Party Pappers which provides comedy paparazzi and TV Crew entertainment for parties and corporate events with pro photographic results. Clients now include John Lewis, Panasonic, RAF, Barclaycard, HP, WHSmith and NatWest.

And finally, not really photo related but I’ve also self-published the MIDLIFE Comedy AZ a lighthearted look at what it's like to suddenly discover you’re a Middle Aged Man with copies available via this site!
